If you have never used a sous vide machine, you absolutely must! Do some research, they are amazing!! This is the only one I have used personally and it has done a great job so far! The circulator does make some noise, but this is probably normal as it heats and circulates the water. Your food will be cooked perfectly though! Kitchen must have!

This All Clad unit is perfect for any Sous Vide application. If you haven't tried Sous Vide you should. Sous Vide will marinate and very slowly cook meats such as steaks, pork chops, beef and pork ribs and chicken (even low quality steaks) to perfection without loosing flavor. With just a good searing or grilling to finish and really bring out the flavor of the meat. Try this instead of a crock pot. The difference is just amazing.

I am glad I bought this sous vide stick. Yes, it is larger than most, but substantially made. Easy to program time/temp. Has an alarm to let you know when water bath has reached appropriate temp so food may be placed and timing starts. The lab scientist in me loves the temp accuracy to 0.1 degrees although probably not necessary for everyday cooking. Old habits die hard. ?

The product in of itself is beautifully made with its stainless steel design. The below is more than likely a one off but still notable due to poor product handling. For cosmetic review, it cannot be determined as the product came used, smelling like meat, with limescale all across the bottom portion of the circulator. A quick feel for the product resulted in a thin layer of what appears to be a very thin layer of oil all over the product. Clearly it had been used prior.
