I bought this thinking I knew how to use it but I was dead wrong. I didn’t do the “test run” with water first and burned supper on night one. I was thinking I was going to have to return it. But then I did the “test run” after I put supper away and it worked perfectly after that. Not sure what I did wrong or if it just needed the water test run to figure it’s programming out or what happened. But now I use it for everything! Best kitchen appliance I’ve ever bought!

I am an experienced pressure cooker user, so the Instant Pot posed less of a learning curve for me than for some. I have used the slow cooker, pressure cooker, sous vide and air fryer functions so far. Great performance in every mode. My family and I love the yogurt I make in the sous vide mode. The air fryer does a very good job for fries and onion rings. I will soon be trying to fry some chicken, which I was not willing to try with our toaster oven air fryer. The Instant Pot has a smaller fryer capacity than one might expect from an 8 quart device.

My husband & I had been wanting an Instant pot that had many ways of cooking. I have to say that this Instant Pot 11 in 1 Fryer & Pressure Cooker has it all. We've had it for a long time now and use it a lot. It air fries without oil & therefore, the food is healthier.

This was purchased as an upgrade from the 6qt Duo model. TOTALLY worth it and I've only used a single mode on each lid (Pressure Cook and Air Fry) so far. I didn't use other modes on the 6qt either including the pre-programmed settings.
