I've ordered this stove twice and received poor quality control in manufacturing both units. The first one would not allow the regulator arm to screw into the base because of a badly off-center misalignment with the hole. The second unit was warped and rocked on it's legs, as well as had gaps on the right side (front and back) of the silver metal top not sealing properly to the base.

What can I say...Coleman camp stoves have been a trusted choice for decades. I only wish the lid was hinged so that it stayed up without needing to use the side wind guards to hold it upright.

As it has been noted many times, Coleman products have gone downhill over the years, but this stove has not disappointed. I am an avid truck camper, and have used this on numerous over landing trips in several states and different altitudes and weather conditions, have taken it down some rough back country roads and I have no complaints. I, for one, like that it does not have an igniter (something else to fail. KISS method works best) and I have no problem setting low burner output for simmer and saute'. I connect it to a 5 lb canister w/hose, and simply wrap the hard pipe connection in a sock when I tuck it in the provided hole before closing it up so it doesnt rattle during transport. I have owned several Coleman products over my 40+ years of being outdoors, and this stove gets 4 stars from me. When it reaches the age of my very first 2 burner I got in '79, and works as well as that one still does, I'll change my rating to 5 stars.

This was easy to use except for the gas line in. That was hard to get connected. Could have been user error though :)
