I have wanted a visual timer for a long time after using one in the classroom. When I saw the fern green one come out, I got that one so it would match my style. The timer is thinner than the photos on here made it seem. It's not as chunky. This is good because it takes up less space and is more portable in s backpack. It takes 1 battery. The back also has the volume switch. I notice it does beep more than one series of beeps which can be annoying. How do I make it stop? One night, it also started beeping out of nowhere. First every 5min then every 1 min. It was annoying while sleeping. I use this only for studying. It has been a great aid overall. I like the minimalistic look of it. The packing was also neat. I'm happy with it.

I have a blue version that I bought in 2020 to help me focus while working from home. Loved how I could use it for the pomodoro method, but visually. I am sensitive to sounds and distractions and I loved how it did not tick. I ordered a new green one for my new workplace and I was sad to discover that it ticks now, even if the timer isn’t set. Sending it back, unfortunately.

I thought it wasn't working after I put the battery in, but it started moving and it made absolutely NO noise! The timer beeper can be turned off. It makes a double-beep 4x and then stops. I only wish It had a couple of level settings for the beep, it is louder than I'd like. I put some tape over it to soften it a bit. The green is a nice color, looks like the photos, and is sleek and clean looking.

My 2 year old still doesn't have any concept of time so this has helped us practice visually showing her how long we need to wait for. This has especially been helpful for putting a timer on TV usage but also a fun way to wait for cookies in the oven : )
