The Sharper Image stopped working on the heating element about six months after I purchased it, where the dial to set the temperature you can set, and the dial timer works but the halogen lamp stopped on turning on. (To be fair, I purchased it used from another on-site seller) The Cosori was working great (bought new), but then a Manufacturer's Recall came where there was faulty product build on these units which resulted in the unit creating/catching fire when using, And advised to stop using immediately to reduce the risk of fire. Long Story Short...The Cosori Manufacturer made it extremely hard to submit a claim for a replacement, and after trying three times, the claim was rejected due to one reason or another. After completely giving up on submitting my legitimate claim and losing the $120.00 I paid for that Cosori Air Fryer I also learning that many others who purchased it also were also having their legitimate claims denied for one reason or another.

I think it's important to clarify a few things on this unit - for those folks that face lack of room, like me. The reality is that most people that buy such devices have small apartments and don't want to be bothered using stoves. They want easy-to-cook meals in a short amount of time. Right? This is a TOP-HEAVY unit. It WILL topple over on an uneven surface or attempting to place it over a stove area when trying to lift open the top. It was the first thing that happened to me after I unboxed it and placed it on top of my stove. I had to lean the unit against my dutch oven (also on my stove) in order to make this whole situation work out.

I really like this appliance! I am not big on cooking because it can be difficult to do everything with 2 little kids. This makes it so much easier and I can make healthy quick meals! The only things I don’t love are like sometimes we need 2 boxes of rice instead of 1 which you can’t do. Also, I find it more difficult to find recipes/instructions for this as compared to the Foodi. But the receipt builder website by ninja for this is AMAZING and super super helpful!! I have been recommending this thing to all my friends and family who don’t like to spend hours cooking!

Listen, if you don’t have this…you should! Since I’ve gotten this magic machine I’ve been eating healthier and cooking is so much less of a chore! Not to mention less dishes! If you aren’t convinced yet you can just skip to the third part of this review… I work at a hospital on the OR floor and My work days are 12 hour shifts. I do not have the energy to cook and do dishes afterwards. My significant other has been doing all the cooking these days and I felt bad not being able to help with that.

So, I was looking for a bigger air fryer and our anniversary was coming up, so I researched all the current air fryers out there and found this one. My hubby got it for our anniversary. I haven't gone back to stove cooking since I got it. It's super easy to clean. I have made burgers, steak, chicken, rice, pasta, & veggies in it as well as fries, chicken patties and other snacks that we would normally just put in the microwave. All crisp and/or crunchy. It's so easy to use that my son uses it all the time too.
