Owned a Restaurant in PA fr 12 years, had a unit costing upwards of $1000. This cooker works as well, if not better, than the 'pro' unit did! I highly recommend this to anyone wanting to get into the sous-vide immersion game!

Had trouble connecting to wifi just did not want to pair up, really did not matter since I had chosen off the menu recipe corned beef, recipes all called for 12-24 hr cook time, I really did not want a shred able corned beef so I cooked at 170 for 11 hrs, it was perfect slice consistency, nice integrity and probably the most flavorful and tender corned beef I had ever made, since I did not use wifi to cook I had to manually put in the time and temp which took a little bit, I still prefer knobs but once wifi can be set up it will most likely go faster, I noticed the machine being off by 1 degree until it got to the last hour of being done then it went to 170, must admit super quiet motor, several times I had gone over to listen if it was still running, the chime it makes when it is done is really not very loud since I went manual on this but I did hear it, it probably could have been little bit more loud.

This process is so easy to use and the final cooked food. We buy our meet and chicken and season them before sealing and freezing them. Once we choose a main meal we pull it out and place it in the fridge to thaw overnight and through the morning. We place the Soux Vde heater circulator and set the tem and time on the app, and let it go. We clocked a 4 1/2 lb beef tenderloin we had cut in half and resealed in two separate bags so we could try two different seasoning styles.

We have seen these devices on the various cooking shows. It seemed to fit well for our needs, so I ordered one. We have only used it a few times, but it has worked perfectly! We have used it for pork chops. Get them close to the done temp in the sous vide and then finish in a pan or BBQ. They came out moist and perfectly cooked. We did the same with burger patties. Absolutely no drying out whatsoever.
